First "box" License

Contract for “box” signed

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Prof. Dr. David Michael Linton signed a contract with IMT Innovations in Switzerland for the development of the “box” ventilator at the headquarters of IMT Innovations AG in Buchs. Professor Linton pointed out that “the box will be a cost-effective solution for the chronic ventilation of patients out of ICU and particularly at home because of many unique features and its superb patient-ventilator interaction”.

Launching process

Professor Dr Linton will contribute his decades of experience in intensive care respiratory medicine and long-term ventilation care to evaluate the first prototypes of the new “box” design. He is now a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the development and optimization of the patented and trademarked “box” ventilator.

Long-term cooperation

The long-term agreement includes the delivery of the first functional prototypes in the next two months and commissioning complete production lines by the end of 2026. In the contract, which was officially signed, IMT Innovations will provide the documentation needed for regulatory device approval. The license agreement will be valid for the entire lifetime of the registered product.
